Important food groups

The goal of food is fulfilling the human need for the energy that we derive from it, which is essential in strengthening the ability to continue daily physical activity.

- Grains, vegetables and legumes none of them contain all the necessary amino acids, but by adding the grains to the legumes, nutritional integration occurs and the body gets all the necessary amino acids such as (adding rice to the lentils in the Kochari dish).

  • Fat

Fat is a very important source of energy and can be used directly or stored for when needed and the fat is absorbed after if the amount of fat exceeds the body's need.

But if the percentage of fat exceeds the need of the body, it accumulates in different places of the body and converted in the intestine into fatty acids, the most important of which is the fatty tissue and may be deposited in the blood vessel wall.

Despite the importance of fats, excessive fat leads to many health damages to humans.

- butter - ghee - cream - meat fats, poultry, fish, dairy products and eggs, and take into account that the daily meal should contain about 30% of the fat.

- sesame - soybean - olive oil - corn oil - olive oil seed - sunflower oil - flax seed oil - walnut oil - almond - hazelnut - coconut – nuts.
